Alongside large prayer areas for men and women, this space will include amenities such as modern classrooms, computer labs, an indoor basketball court, a cafeteria, and a rooftop space for recreational uses. Finally, the scope of this construction project consists of a full design for a public use facility.

The New York Harbor school, located on Governors Island, needs a new school building for classrooms, labs, a competition-sized pool, and a gymnasium. The current school building is being outgrown, evidenced by the makeshift storage facilities outside the school. Our solution consists of: (1) a new academic building to house the desired amenities, (2) an extension of an existing building for a cafeteria, and (3) a pedestrian bridge connecting the two new structures to create a unified campus.
